I’m a second year PhD student in the department of Materials Science. I’m working to develop a new light conversion material which can potentially increase the efficiency of solar cells. I attended couple of CUE events this year and found them to be truely inspiring. The society works towards creating a supportive environment aimed at encouraging the best from the future entrepreneurs seeking to pitch their ideas. My role at CUE involves liasing with other universites in order to build strong relationship among CUE and other partnering societies. It’s great to be part of a society with such a rich reputation in stimulating ideas which actually makes a difference.
