ProteinCovery

The aim of my business ProteinCovery is to identify proteins that bind to DNA, which represent important targets for drug discovery and to use these to identify novel drugs. Such proteins have major functions in disease processes (e.g. cancer, diabetes) and represent potential targets for drugs. So far, there is no good means by which proteins that bind to a specific DNA fragment can be identified. During my PhD I have developed a novel, fast and powerful method to identify DNA binding proteins.
