The product is an ultra sensitive MEMS based detector which will detect the presence of explosive and narcotic by receiving and analysing radio signals emitted from an excited sample of explosive or narcotic from a range of 1 to 10 metres. The device is basically an electro-mechanical microantenna which transforms the electrical energy of time varying signals into mechanical energy.
