Initially targeted for the distressed community of Khayelitsha Township in Cape Town, South Africa, the Loxion Internet Caf project is designed to be a viable and sustainable business which provides the locals with the opportunity to enhance their entrepreneurship skills, at the same time fulfilling a bigger agenda for the distressed urban and rural communities by reaping the benefits from the digital market economy and internet technology, thus subsequently reducing the knowledge disparity gap between these communities and the upper middle class and rich.
