Tech Solders
According to two recent EU directives, lead is soon to be totally banned from electronic equipment because of its toxicity to human health. Lead-based soldering alloys currently used in certain engineering applications where the operating temperatures of the circuitry exceeds 125° have a very high content of lead in order to keep the melting point high and, on top of this, need to be periodically replaced because failure of the mechanical joint occurs. Tech Solders offers a novel way of assembling electronic components to circuit boards by means of a lead-free solder alloy that is capable of operating in liquid state, therefore preventing the failure of the assembly.
